Meet the Team
Albert is a guide, fluent in English and Kinyarwanda. Born and raised in the unique Nyungwe tropical rainforest, he loves sharing his knowledge of Rwanda's flora and fauna with you while he encourages you up one more hill.
Leon is our multilingual guide: French, English and Kinyarwanda. Kigali born and bred, he has street smarts but will still share the magic of our 1000 Hills with you on the Congo Nile Trail or Twin Lakes Tour.
Twizere is our chaperone. He's a man of few words, but incredibly strong and he's your steady companion on your ride. He'll carry your belongings in panniers, show you the way and keep the curious children from crowding you when you stop for a sip of water. He'll charm you with his quiet approach and striking smile.
Jean D'amour is our mechanic . He cares for our bikes, keeping them in tip top condition for your ride. On our longer tours he'll be there alongside in the support vehicle, tinkering with your bike at any opportunity.
Kazungu is in charge of all the kit you will need. He washes and prepares it, ready for your tour, making sure everything is ready. He's our man Friday, whether it is gardening, plumbing, building, cycling, he'll do it to the best of his abilities.
Leandre is our resident Zoologist. As the only member of the team to have benefited from a university education, he takes responsibility for making sure our guides and chaperones have all the right facts at their fingertips for you. He makes sure that your meals, hotels and activities are booked for you.
